A while back, I wrote about the future of bulletins. While we’re not ready to make that change just yet, we still produce our bulletins in house. Instead of using a generic bulletin each week, we made the choice to print our bulletins that reflect the series that we are in. Here’s how we do it.
We buy 8.5″x14″ paper from Staples using our tax exempt code. All graphics are produced by the incredible team at LifeChurch.tv. We do have to tweak the size a bit so the graphic will fit on the page. We then insert the graphics, talk notes, and any other materials into a customized MS Word file. We purchased a Dell 5100cn color laser printer so we can print all of our bulletins, mailers, invite cards, and flyers. Finally, we use a Carl Paper Trimmer with a perforation blade to create the tear off communication card.
Here’s how it looks when we’re done:
If you’d like a copy of the file, leave a comment and I’ll send you one.

Jonathan, these look great. Can you send me a copy of this file?
By the way, this MCE comment editor is acting very weird in my web browser.

The file is on its way. I see what you’re talking about with the comment editor. It’s turned off now until I find out the problem.
