In case you haven’t heard about the Jena 6, check out the video below. You can also see some news clippings here.
If you’ve ever been to Elevation or know me at all, you’ve heard me say that my desire for our church is to be a kaleidoscope church. A church where all races & backgrounds, black & white, rich & poor, haves & have nots, broken & whole, all gather to worship and celebrate God’s love for us. This story of the Jena 6 reminds me that still have a long way to go. Come and help us bridge the gap (whatever it is) and share God’s love to everyone.
I’ll be back to posting regularly again soon. With the start of Elevation only 24 days away, it’s getting busy.
