Kirk Franklin is the worship leader for the next two sessions. Although I’m not totally into gospel music, I can listen to him anyday. I think for me it’s the honesty and authenticity that he projects. Today, we heard a bit of his story. I had heard & read about it, but to hear it from his lips was awesome. I love people’s story. Everyone has a story. And every story is worth telling. Kirk’s story is of brokenness and redemption. He told about a pastor who said that he’s “young and he’ll grow out of his problems.” That dude missed an opportunity, but God redeemed him and changed him. Praise God!
