I’ve seen numerous posts from church planters’ blogs that I have subscribed to with Bloglines. One that I always bookmark is resources. In a new church, position, or area of occupation, you always look for resources. And not just any resource, but something specific and cost effective. I’ve got to say thanks to everyone who helped in some way or another contribute to this list of resources.
As you look at this list know that we won’t be getting everything on it. It’s just a resource of places where we could eventually get something. Here’s my list:
- eBay - By far the best when it comes to specific items. You’ll get that item at 1/2 or 1/4 the retail cost.
- Sam’s - Costco doesn’t have the vast selection that Sam’s does. Shop online for what you’re looking for. Need coffee makers? Check their selection out. We needed a cart for our folding chairs. Sam’s beat everybody out.
- PsPrint - 2,500 door hangers for $232. 1,000 stickers 2″x2″ for $100. 2 Banners 8′x4′ for $360. 250 newsletters for $379.
- Jakprints.com - 1,000 envelopes for $130.
- PrintPlace - 1,000 business cards for $43. 1,000 flyers for $193.50. 250 poster 11×17 for $207.50.
- 48hrprint - 1,000 letterhead for $199
- KenoPrint - Retractable banners start at $149
- Netprint24 - 2,5000 Postcards for $145
- 1stpads.com - 250 mousepads for $513 (probably won’t start with this one, but still a good resource)
- Discountmugs.com - 72 mugs for $114
- Balloonprinting.com - 1,000 latex 11″ balloons for $135.
- imatchbooks.com - 2,500 matchbooks for $283. (Tennessee is voting on a new law banning smoking this week so we’ll see if it will affect this one or not)
