I can’t even begin to tell you how great yesterday’s game was. Back & forth, winning & losing. Amazing game. I’ve gotta give it up for the kids. They played awesome yesterday. We won 12-11, but had to come back to do so. We went up 5-0. They matched us. After 1 inning, the score was 5-5.
In the second, our kids scored only 2 while the other team scored 5. At the top of the 3rd, the score was 10-7. I told the kids before they went up to bat that we needed everyone to score. We scored all of our 5 runs on 1 out.
Bottom of the third, we’re up 12-10. I told the kids before they took the field that we needed to shut them down. Don’t let them score 2 runs and tie us. I have to say that our team played the best defense I have seen them play. They held the other team to only 1 run and won the game for us.
