Yesterday, I had the priviledge of attending a Weight Watchers meeting. No, I didn’t join. I went on behalf of my wonderful wife. It was her celebration day - a day set aside to celebrate her hitting her lifetime goal. I’m not sure how much she’s actually lost, so I’m not going to guess. That’s just one of the ways I’m trying to stay out of the doghouse.
Alicia started WW 100 weeks ago yesterday. She missed only 1 weekly meeting. She credits her success to the meetings. I’ll credit it to her discipline. She gets up at 5:15am and walks on the treadmill for about an hour. During her lunch hour, she walks for about 2 more miles. When she goes shopping, she picks out healthy food. And when she gets home, she grabs a Sharpie and marks the points on all the packages. At first, that process took a while (looking up the points on so many things can do that). Now, it’s a breeze. All of this didn’t happen when she started. But through the process, she’s worked out more, gained confidence, and feels great.
They say that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and I can truly say that my wife is a hottie. Always has been, always will be. If you read this, I LOVE YOU AND AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
