Saturday’s game started late…very late. We were to arrive at the field at 3:45pm for pictures and our game would start at 4:15pm. We arrived on time, but had to wait until the game before ended. We later learned that every game has went over and our photo time would be at 4:15 or there abouts.
When we finally got to play, the game was a beaut. The kids rocked the first inning. Even the smallest ones were hitting my pitches. Everyone batted and we ended the first inning down 5-4. Everything kept clicking throughout the game, but in the end we fell short 14-8.
It was by far the best game our kids played. I am so darn proud of them. They’ve worked hard and listened well. I’m sure that if we keep improving and playing hard, we’ll win our first one soon.
