Had a great lunch today with Andrew Statezny of Lifechurch.tv Hendersonville. We went to Baja Fresh on West End. The Cheese Quesadillas are excellent. But enough about the food.
Andrew moved to Tennessee a few years ago and planted Church Unplugged. He said that their church looked into partnering with denominations, church planting groups, and others. In the past year, they partnered with Lifechurch.tv. Lifechurch.tv is a group of churches (now 10) that share a common theme: “Whoever Finds God Finds Life.” They’re all about life change. And boy have they seen it.
Andrew said that they have seen someone come to Christ every week since they started. How many churches can say that? I loved our conversation. One thing he said about vision really connected me. He said that he has an average of 90 seconds to state vision to the church each week. “If you can’t state your vision on why you’re starting a new church in 30 seconds, you need to work on it.”
