As we prepare for our church’s launch, our team is doing the study Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby. It is a phenominal study and is doing wonders for our group, but especially me.
The first week dealt with God’s will for your life. This week is centered on looking for where God is at work and joining Him. It’s about looking for those opportunities to see God working in an individual’s life and joining the conversation.
No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and I will raise him up at the last day.

With this being Valentine’s Day, I relate this passage of scripture to my experience with my wife. When I first saw her, she was (and still is) very attractive. I was then drawn toward finding a way just to speak to her. When I did, the conversation blossomed and my desire to date and eventually marry the love of my life happened. From that moment, my life has never been the same. My dreams are hers and vice versa.
I believe that God has strategically positioned us where we are for a reason. He wants to elevate the lives of people and He wants us to be in on the process. Cool stuff. I can’t wait to see what happens as we continue this journey of Experiencing God together.
