Growing up in Tennessee, I can relate to the media blitz and the crowded grocery stores. I still remember my mom going to the store getting milk and bread because they were calling for snow. Schools would close for 2″ of that white stuff.
As a kid, I prayed for two inches of snow. This Monday, the forcast said that we should get two inches Wednesday night. Schools sent notes and emails reminding us parents about which station to watch. My kids are praying, praying hard.
Well today’s the day and although it is cold (32 degrees), it’s still bearable. Alicia and I lived in Indiana for 4 years and Michigan for two. We’ve seen big snows and I’ll be surprised if we can make a snowman this time. Still, there’s that kid inside of me that still screams SNOW!!!!
Be safe!
