A friend of mine gave me a great gift. He’s going out of town for the weekend and gave his Predators tickets to me. Shortly after he brought them over, I received an email saying that there are only 400 tickets left for the game.
I’m taking my daughter to the game with me. She enjoys the environment more than the game itself. She’s running around the house chanting “Let’s go Predators”. Oh and she can’t wait to get her hands on some nachos and cotton candy.
That got me thinking. Shouldn’t church be that exciting? Shouldn’t church be something that you can’t wait to attend? Something that you plan for on Mondays and can’t wait for Sunday to come again. Yeah, I want to go to a church like that. How ’bout you?
That’s the dream that I have for our church. I want to see the church be an engaging, exciting, enabling, & enlightening experience for all. So let’s dream a new dream. Let’s run around chanting and cheering for our great God to do a new work right here, right now.
