Have you ever called a company and then pressed zero a hundred times so you can finally get a live person? Or have you ever gave your personal information to the automated system and then, again give it to a “live person” when they pick up the phone.

I’ll admit, I hate automated systems. When I call a company, it usually isn’t to get my account balance, make a transaction, or change my billing address. It’s because I have a specific problem that an automated system cannot process.

I called a company today to get something changed. After going through their system for what seemed like an eternity, I finally got on the line with someone. My issue was resolved.

Customer service. It is what makes or breaks large companies, small businesses, and even churches. So how do you fix it?
